Jacquelyn Vinci
Founder & Managing Director

Ms. Vinci is the Founder and Senior Managing Director of Luminosity Advisors.  She has over two decades of comprehensive professional destination and event management, marketing, and communications experience organizing more than 1,500 customized events for a diverse group of corporate, association, non-profit and government clients throughout North America.  As Director of Special Events for Courtesy Associates/Smith Bucklin in Washington, D.C., she was responsible for the creation and execution of innovative special events for some of America's premier corporations and associations such as the Pacific Basin Economic Council, Kemper Funds, American Academy of Insurance Medicine, MCI Telecommunications, Samsung Electronics, Friedman, Billings & Ramsey, National Heart, Lung & Blood Institute, and World Congresses of Gastroenterology.  Ms. Vinci also served as Director of Operations for the Presidential Yacht Trust in Washington, D.C. where she managed all operations for the former Presidential Yacht Sequoia including event sales, scheduling and coordination of all official, corporate, non-profit and association events. She directed the marketing and fulfillment of corporate membership programs and managed two eight month, 7,000 mile national goodwill voyages of Sequoia around the eastern seaboard and Mississippi River planning arrival ceremonies with local dignitaries, press relations, public tours and fundraising events. Ms. Vinci was chosen as the transportation coordinator for the 52nd Presidential Inaugural finance committee. As an inaugural team leader, she managed gala events for the largest campaign contributors, and subsequently continued her work with the White House to manage logistics for other official events.

Ms. Vinci recently served as exclusive sell-side advisor to the ownership of A Vista Events in its acquisition by Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC).  This transaction was selected by M&A Advisor as a 2008 finalist in the categories of Corporate/Strategic Acquisition of the Year (Below $100 mm), Media, Entertainment or Telecom Deal of the Year, and Professional Services Deal of the Year (Below $100 mm) for the 7th Annual Middle-Market M&A Awards.

Ms. Vinci is a member of the International Special Events Society and has served as Washington, DC Chapter President, Northeast Regional Vice President, and as a member of the International Board of Governors. She was nominated for an outstanding achievement award by the national publication Special Events Magazine for an event she created for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals.   Ms. Vinci was featured on The History Channel’s documentary on the USS Sequoia. She has lectured at the George Washington University Event Management Program, served as a board member of CARE and the Hugh O'Brien Youth Foundation and was the recipient of the Capital Ambassador Award honoring her for contributions to the promotion of the Washington, D.C. hospitality industry.
