Dr. Richard A. Vinci, CEO & Founder

Since founding Luminosity Advisors in 1999, Dr. Richard A. Vinci has spent nearly 30 years helping businesses grow with purpose, navigate complexity, and build lasting value. His career spans Wall Street boardrooms, Fortune 500 finance teams, global institutions, and family-owned enterprises—guiding leaders through pivotal moments in capital raising, M&A, and strategic transformation.
Dr. Vinci currently serves as Managing Director and Registered Representative at Pickwick Capital Partners LLC (member FINRA/SIPC), holding active FINRA Series 7, 22, 24, 62, and 63 licenses (CRD #2813240). He is also Principal Advisor to True North Life Sciences and teaches Investment Management in the MBA program at the University of Arizona Global Campus.
His prior leadership roles include Berkshire Hathaway, Inc.BRK (NYSE) of Omaha, First National Bank of Omaha, Daiwa SMBC, and Deutsche Bank. He has advised clients across industries—from life sciences to industrials—including public and private enterprises, private equity firms, and multigenerational family businesses.
Dr. Vinci earned his Doctorate from Creighton University, MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, postgraduate studies in the MSc programme in Financial Management at University of London’s SOAS, and his Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (LSA & Ross School of Business). Additionally, Dr. Vinci holds multiple industry designations including the CMB, CRI and CRA.
